Hi, I'm Clint
a Concept Artist, 2D Animator and Visual Development Artist.

I work remotely from my home studio in Cape Town, South Africa.

I am a self-taught digital artist with more than 25 years of professional experience collaborating with game development teams around the world.
Working across illustration, character design, concept art, game art, and 2D animation, I have built a career creating expressive,
story-driven visuals that combine strong design with a distinctive stylized comic aesthetic. My work is recognized for its bold colour palettes,
confident line work, and dynamic character appeal. Animal characters are at the heart of my creative practice,
and I specializes in designing memorable anthropomorphic and creature-based personalities for games, animation, publishing, and entertainment projects.
Over the course of my career, I have contributed to a wide range of online game development projects,
working closely with distributed teams to develop characters, visual concepts, production artwork, and animated assets.
My multidisciplinary background allows me to move seamlessly from early concept exploration through polished final illustration and animation.
Driven by decades of hands-on experience rather than formal training, I bring a practical, collaborative approach to every project.

I was always interested in drawing growing up as a kid.
I remember going to see Disney's Fantasia and wondering how it was possible
to make these characters come to life on screen.

I started freelancing in about 1999, and a year later I got my first big contract.
Bluster and Tikolo. A project that lasted 6 years, and became a much loved game
and comic strip for children in South Africa back then.
Thrown into the deep end of the educational gaming industry
I had to learn quickly how to create characters for digital interactivity.

For the last 25 years I have worked on various creative projects for clients from all over the world.
